At Great Lakes Golden Retriever Rescue, we rescue Goldens from shelters, animal control facilities, and often times owners. GLGRR is a growing rescue with foster homes located throughout Michigan. We are a nonprofit corporation run soley by volunteers who are dedicated to helping Goldens find safe, loving homes by providing foster care for each dog until a forever home can be found.

Our Mission Statement:
Our goal is to save unwanted, neglected, and abandon Golden Retrievers. To provide safe and loving foster homes until a stable, healthy home can be found. We also provide the Goldens in our care with food, medical attention and most of all, compassion. We also promote responsible pet ownership through education.
